Been here before on the old forum, mainly lurked. Have an 82 cm250c I was attempted to get running again. Still haven't figured that one out.
Saw an ad on craigslist for an 85 Rebel, hadn't been ridden for a couple of years, good condition,red,$500. Loaded up the trailer, bought the bike and brought it home. Got it in the garage Saturday night, by Sunday night I had changed all the fluids, pulled and cleaned the carb, and ordered a battery since no one in town had one in stock. By Tuesday the bike was on the street again. WOOHOO!
Its more for my wife, but I now own an:
82 cm250c - doesn't run
84 700 Magna
86 1100 Magna
79 Goldwing
I'm sure to have questions following about this bike, but I'll take a breath and hit ya'll up later with those...
