Hi ya'all.
I am the proud owner of a 2005 orange Rebel. I got it in March of 2005 and have ~4000 miles on it.
I pretty much have it set up like l want it.
It's got W/M Compact Slant saddlebags, Cortech tailbag, engine guards, Spitfire windshield, a Stebel horn and a Garmn GPSMAP 60CS to tell me where to go.
I just got a seat from chemanuel, still gotta put it on, and I am looking for highway pegs.
Also, one of these days I want to get a trunk similar to the JC Whitney one, and relocate the brake light on top of it. It's gotta be big enough to stuff my jacket in it.
I also have a 2003 VLX that I got in November 2002 with ~17000 miles on it. Also, I have a 2004 V Strom 650 with ~7000 miles on it.
The Rebel is the most practical to ride at this point.
I got the Strom for traveling, but I never get a chance to go anywhere!!! The VLX is a good "combo" bike - freeways/streets,
and the Rebel is an excellent commuter for me.
You folks seem like a friendly bunch and I look forward to getting to know you all.
Best Regards,
