Hello! I just bought a 250 Rebel. My first bike! Now I just have to learn how to ride! Are there any Honda riding groups in eastern Ma?

Welcome to the site, Jim! What year is your Reb ?

As far as Honda riding groups in your area, the local Honda dealers or even the indie shops may have listings of various rider's groups that they can refer you to.

The MSF Rider's Course is always recommended as a "must-do" in regards to learning the rider's skills & hopefully getting the m/c endorsement. (I'm not necessarily a huge fan of the MSF Course for personal reasons, but my opinion on that is definitely a minority opinion.) For all intents & purposes, you might want to check 'em out.

Yes, it is......SWEET! Recently saw a nice Honda Shadow that was probably the same Pearl White & it was lookin' REAL sharp. Rode by an MSF Course that was in progress a few weeks ago & saw a Pearl White Rebel in that bunch as well. It really does stand out nice...Enjoy! :wink:

Jim, I'm up in Amesbury. There is a MSF course at Cycles128 in Beverly. I just took it last week - well worth it. If you take the course in MA, you are exempt from the registry road test. I also have the pearl white 06 Rebel.

Years ago, been to Boston, Springfield (Dylan & Springsteen concerts), Sturbridge, Worchester (Motorhead & Alice Cooper concert), the Cape.....and a bit south of Y'all, got some ink work done in Newport by Buddy Mott & a couple at Ruby's Tattoo parlor. Man, that was a long time ago..........

Thanks to all for the advice! I do plan on taking the safety course in Beverly, right now I need everything. Boots, gloves, helmet, etc.
