Hello my wife and I might have to sell our bikes, my wife has MS.
I have a 80 xs850 that my friend is going to buy for 2200 it is a nice bike very custom.
My wife's bike is a 2003 Honda Rebel, Black, 2695 miles on it.
I take good care of my stuff, I changed the oil every 600-900 miles,
it's only a 1 1/2 qts. and easy to do also I use Mobil 1 the 5 dollar a qt. stuff. It also has bridgstone mag-mopus tires.
I have replaced the headlight bulb with a super white halogen,
Have replaced the rear turn signals with black out smaller ones.
I also have LED lights red and blue wired up under places in the bike to illuminate the engine and wheels, etc., looks good at night.
I also have installed an inline fuel filter clear see through kind, (they usually don't have filters on most bikes) also have a magnetic fuel thingy that's supposed to have great benefits in fuel combustion, and gas mileage.
I also have installed a magnetic Drain plug.
I have done a filter modification where I unplugged the crankcase vent from the stock filter, plugged the hole in the air filter, and added a second filter just for the crank case vent, this is better because the fumes from the crankcase actually ruin you 35 dollar stock air filter to replace the crankcase its only 5 bucks.
I have had national cycle windshield put on,
also I have Willie and Max saddlebags nice black soft ones still look like new most of the time my wife had these off.
Also I. Have a chrome sissy bar, it does not fit with the new rear blinkers I put on but I have kept all the stock parts if you ever want to change anything back to stock.
I have changed the grips to new pro grips they look good.
It has leather fork tube wraps with spikes and has clutch and brake leather covers.
It has a leather front spiked mud flap, and a leather studded rear one.
It has chrome bullet valve caps.
I have installed a chrome headlight visor also.
Gee, what else?
Chrome license plate cover also spiked license plate cover,
Leather tool pouch usually found on the front forks small tube type.
I also have a second set of after market LED arrow head turn signals,
I have to install an electronic flasher to make them work but I did buy the flasher it was 11 bucks.
They most extensive modification I have done is lengthen the front seat slide the rear seat back and taillight back.
Also I have had the front seat shaved down the end result was a sleeker looking seat and bike, with more room to move around and more of a choice where to sit to be comfortable slide forward or back.
I also have a pair of aftermarket chrome mirrors they are smaller and oval, but I have never put them on the bike.
Also have motorcycle cover.
I have a little custom chrome cover over the dull black tool box cover that says rebel in Japanese.
MY wife also has a like new VEGA helmet to go with the bike.
I have a quick connect on the battery for easy charging during the winter.
I have also changed the rear sprocket to 30 tooth instead of a 33 tooth which is stock. Less rpms at higher speeds, higher top end.
I had the chain changed when I did the sprocket to a higher end relief chain.
Also a chrome twisted metal hi-way bar.
We only run 91 octane chevron usually.
Also we had the carb. re-jetted and tuned.
I am sure there is even more that we have done to the bike and my wife does not want to sell it, that's why I'm selling my bike also.
We paid 3,711 from the dealer new with tax license everything, I do believe that I have an extra 2000 just in accessories and modifications.
I know I will never get that out of it but it is still like a new bike with only 2695 miles on it.
If any one is interested please email or post a thread and I will email you PICS.
God Bless
