You know those long brass garden hose nozzles that you twist to adjust for either a spray or a solid stream ? For the longest time, I'd been thinking that they'd make pretty trick footpegs.

Finally bought 4 nozzles at a $ Store for a buck each. Then I bought 4 quick-detach pieces at Home Depot for $2.20 each. The quick-detach has one solid end & one threaded end to receive the hose nozzle. Checked the pegs on the 450 Rebel & the front rider's pegs will be do-able. Will be drilling holes thru the solid ends of the quick detach for mounting in place of the stock rider's pegs & then either using Red Loctite or JB Weld when threading the nozzles on.

The passenger pegs look like it'll take more fabrication, so I'll either figure those out or just leave 'em be. Might even remove 'em altogether as with the lowered rear fender, I don't pack a passenger on the Rebel anyways for fear of bottoming out, LOL!

Will do, Brother....

It's still going to be awhile, as I've got to get the chopped Trumpet back on the road & then give some attention to the Rebel. Also want to throw the project Trumpet together just to get her up 'n running. By "throw", I don't mean carelessly, just not placing a priority on paint, detailing, etc.

Never have been a computer/pic kinda guy, but will have to get the OL to take a bunch of pics of the Reb & FINALLY share like the rest of Y'all

Patience please......LOL!

Edit: With the quick-detach mounted in the stock bracket, the hose nozzle should be pretty dang close to being the same length as the stock footpegs.........they just won't be "isotonic", LMAO!
