Mud & Mufflers

Hi all,

Two part question. Has anyone installed a mud flap on the front fender? Did it do any good?

Part two. I have read about mini mufflers that can be put inside pipes. My Rebel has mufflers with the ends cut out for noise purposes. Is there any way to install those mini mufflers inside the muffler shells or do they have to be shoved up all the way to the pipes?

I put a studded leather "mud flap" on the bike I sold last july, it wasnt very hard, I drilled 2 small mounting holes in the fender.

As for the mufflers are you wanting to put baffles back in? to reduce the sound? MIght have as much luck putting on new pipes. Try ebay from time to time, you can pic up used pipes reasonable there.
