Just wanted to offer some guidelines that were provided to me by a Tech from an E-mail service some years ago. Please keep in mind that the Internet can be used for good or bad purposes. When it comes to public boards, such as this site & many others, there's always the possibility of people with bad intent reading the boards but never actually posting. Some of those same people look for personal information that's been posted on a public board & then try to take advantage of that info to pursue their own devious ends.

In an attempt to minimize being victimized by those with devious intentions, the guidelines given to me by that Tech were:

Never type your E-mail address on a public board
Never provide personal info such as name, address, phone # etc. on a public board
Never engage in chain E-mails
Never click on links unless you feel confident that they've been provided by trustworthy people as some links may contain viruses
Never keep an address book as many viruses can be spread thru E-mail address books

It's a personal call & everyone is free to conduct their business as they see fit, but just wanted to offer these as a head's up in the hopes of sparing any unpleasant situations that otherwise might occur.

Ride Safe........
