Did anyone else see that MINT condition '87 Rebel on eBay yesterday with a Buy It Now of $3000 ? I don't see it listed & haven't checked the completed listings, but am assuming it got snagged pretty quick.

There's another VERY clean '87 450 Reb on eBay right now with a Buy It Now of $2400. That one probably won't last thru the day either.

If I'm not mistaken, the price of the average, used 450 Rebs seem to be coming down just slightly ? But those "mint" condition ones are getting sold quickly! Not sure of the collectibility of these 450 Rebs, but would guess that with the limited 2 yrs. production run & if they're in immaculate condition, some collectors would definitely be interested in acquiring one for their stable.

That's the spirit, Snorey! The collectors can spend their $$$ however they choose, but museum pieces don't impress me, either.

Motorcycles are meant to be RIDDEN & ride 'em we does....do ? does ? Whatever, we get saddle-time! LMAO!

i honestly dont think many people relize how rare the 450 rebels are. I know the guy i bought mine off of would have had alot higher price on it if he knew what i knew at the time of the sell. The rewards of researching before buying really pays off!!! lol

Agreed. The more people that buy computers & have access to places like eBay, the fewer the deals that will be available. When I'm shopping for old Brit parts locally, I always HOPE that they don't have computer access yet, LMAO!
