"Going once, going twice......".......hehehe...
Your wife will understandably be sad to see that sweet Rebel go, but what will the new ride be ? (If it's a secret & a surprise for her, please forget I asked, LOL!)

Sweet Rebel!! I know that whoever gets it will be VERY pleased. Loved the lights....will have to get me some of those for mine.!! 8)
How many lights did you put on it?
That is the 8 light kit on her bike. I would say it should do well on the 450 also. But there is the 16 light kit that you could go with and really put some eyes out.
I'll be back home from my business here in N.C on sunday, and I'll get your things in the mail.

Noticed that the auction is ended. Not a bad price there, cTc! CONGRATS! :D
yep, the bike has sold, and my wife hates to see it go, but she learned the right way to ride on the rebel, and is comfortable enough to go with a bit bigger bike.
I'll be delivering the bike to savannah Ga once I work out the details with the seller. Might even recruit her for membership to the site

Can still understand your wife's reluctance to let it go, but she'll probably be very content with an up-grade. Lots of fine bikes out there
And I absolutely agree with what you've said about her learning the right way by choosing the 250cc Rebel. It makes me cringe when I see people recommend larger bikes as starter bikes. Too much power can get away from a new rider & have disastrous results.
we still dont know what the next ride will be, leaning to the v-star 650 or the vulcan 800, thats all the bike she'll ever need. Will have to see what happens once the rebel is delivered.

Cool! Have heard excellent reviews on the V-Star 650 & was rapping to an owner of one last year & he LOVES it! I'm not as familiar with the Vulcan 800, but my landlord has a '95 Vulcan 500cc & it's no slouch by any means, so I'm sure the 800cc version is even better.
