Not my style. Never been into those enormous sissy's and ape's.
I like it a bit in between, sort of indian larry style. A bit more compact, but still old-school. I just love the tribute bike from biker-build off<3
someone put in the wrench time
I cant say it would be my daily ride, but I'd love to have it for the shock value.

Yep, it's a good example of "Chop What Ya Got" & they really went for it. I don't normally like the radical high sissy bars, but it works with this one. It'd probably be a blast to ride :D
100% positive you would be seen. I love my apes, and I like hight sissy bars but like them better shorter than the bars.

Agreed, cTc...
I prefer higher bars as well, currently shoulder-heigth as originally set-up when I built it. They changed the ape-hanger law here a couple years back, to "not over shoulder-heigth", some still run 'em higher without any hassle, which is cool.
Also agree about the sissy bars. Had acquired a basket chop that had a high-a** sissy bar on the back, but low handlebars. Eventually took some custom parts off of it & sold the rest of the chop, but took the sissy bar to an indie shop & had the welder cut it down to 24" top to bottom, with a straight cross-piece across the now lowered top, just high enough to use as a grabrail or mount a toolbag.
Wondering what the hp rating is on this XS400. I might check out www.bikez.com & see if they have any specs listed. The 450 Rebel is rated at 38 ponies & moves along just fine. That Yami-chop might actually do a little boogie'in'... :D
