I keep looking at the floor boards available from Jack's. Any of you guys used or have thoughts on floor boards? Pro's, con's??
Floorboards are extremely popular,
but it is really an opinion thing.
I myself don't care for them. I have found that they tend to reduce your lean angle a bit, and they are far more restrictive of foot positioning than is a traditional peg. While you can move your foot an inch or two forward or back, your stuck with a certain angle, etc. Further, I have found that changing boots becomes a bigger nuisance than usual, as you are more apt to have have to change the shifter and brake pedal positions to accomodate them than you are with the pegs.
That, and there is just something about floorboards that has always screamed "I wish I had bought a scooter," but that's just me.
Like I said, it's an opinion thing.

I agree that it's an issue of opinions on the floorboards.
My wife is a new rider, and I intend to get floorboards for her 250. The extra platform the floorboards provide will, I think, give her with more security and comfort, particuarly on longer rides. She's not far enough along at this point to worry about extreme lean angles.
