Sitting at home today, I get a call from one of my paintball buddies, he wants to know if I could paint his CO2 tank with silver flames, I say sure, then he says he want the true flame look, so I say, never done it before but bring it on it will give me something to do other than hold down the recliner.
He shows up with the tank, a small one, 12oz. I proceed to remove the stickers etc and prep the tank. a quick over spary of black and a little time to dry and its time to lay some flames. I mixed 4 different silvers and a white, thinking that should be enough for the effect.
So after about an hour airbrushing I switch over to clear and lay a quick shot of clear coat.
Not bad for a first timer and 2 hours worth of work.

The digital camera really really puts a hurting on the effect it dosent show the differnt layers of flames, only the darkest and lightest. I will get some sunlight pics when I can so you can see the tru apperance.
I may made a mistake, now the wife wants the rebel flamed out
