Have got the Clymer's manual, but was wondering if anyone has the Honda OEM Service manual & if so, how do the 2 compare ?
Does the Honda manual offer more detailed info, specs, etc. ?
TIA...
Ive also got the clymer, and havent had a run in with the honda book. I'd guess the clymer is spoken more in the english we are all use to.

Will be getting the Honda Service Manual here shortly & will give an up-date once I get it. Always good to have as many different manuals available for cross referencing. If it's just a repetition of what's in the Clymer's without any substantial additional info, will be sure to let others know that as well.

Cool, it will be nice to know if the clymer is actually a better "have" than the honda book. Or if its worth getting ahold of a honda book.

Finally got the Honda OEM Service manual (86-87 CMX450C) & did a quick side by side comparison.
Clymer's has 14 chapters/Honda Service manual has 20 chapters.
Honda Service manual has 226 pages/Clymer's has 426 pages, but not sure how many of those are actually devoted to the 450 Rebel.
Honda Service manual has:
LOTS of exploded parts diagrams similar to what can be found at places such as Bike Bandit
More specs
More trouble-shooting guides
Good photos
Another thing I like about it is that it's 450 Rebel "only" & ya don't have to sift thru the other models like in the Clymer's. Would definitely recommend the OEM Service manual as an additional reference to the Clymer's.
