Most indie shops should carry 7/8" red grips by "Scott". I buy 'em for the chopped Trumpet, they're not the exact same style as the pic you posted, but they're fine & the price was much cheaper ($8-$12 ?)

I'm getting close to finding the one's i'm looking for. What i've done is to check out Triumph, Norton & Bsa bikes & they seem to have the type of grips i'm looking for but so far i've only been able to fine them in black. I'll continue to keep looking & will post if i find them. Thanks Chopper Town for the websites.

Did a quick search on www.google.com for "Scott motorcycle grips red"....or "motorcycle grips red"

Saw Bike Bandit listed in one of the links also...www.bikebandit.com
Edit: The Cycle Gear link isn't working. Let me check that again & get back to ya.

I don't know why i didn't think of this earlier, another good source for handlebar grips are bicycle shops. Ebay as quite a few on there site that will fit a 7/8" bar & they come in different colors, even in the red that i've been looking for.

Excellent point! Now that you mentioned it, I know some guys that have used bicycle handlebars on metric choppers as they're the same 7/8".

Just a reminder to some who may not know, when buying grips for a 7/8" bar to make sure that one of the grips is a 1" to fit over the throttle sleeve.

If your looking for handlebar grips here's a great source.
http://www.mcmaster.com/ in the search or find box type in page #3490. They come in packs of 6 & in different styles too.

WHOA! Excellent link, Chopper Rick & thanx for providing that. Check out those prices! $1 or LESS per grip!
Believe me, I change out grips on the chopped Trumpet fairly regularly due to weather exposure and/or general appearance as these old Triumphs have been known to leak a little oil now & then...*ahem*.......hehehe.....and it tends to end up on the grips. This is definitely a worthwhile source. Thanx again...
