Seriously..... Saddle Bags????!!!!

Okay... I am tired of the bull**** fed to me by the dealerships and the bag companies, all of them telling me that their saddlebags will fit on my '86 Rebel 250. only to buy them and find that they don't even come close to fitting properly!!

So I want to hear it from people who have ACTUALLY gotten a pair that fit and work! Where did you get them and how much did you pay?

I am looking for a reasonably priced pair ($75-$125).

My saddle bags fit good and look great! The brand is River Road. A couple of dealerships here carry them, but I've also seen them being offered in J.C. Whittney. They are the medium size I believe. They are in your price range and you can see them in my pictures.

almost any bag within a reasonable size will fit, but i doubt any will just throw on without some minor modification to get them to fit around the seat bolts etc.

got mine used for 50 bucks on ebay, they fit great, they came off rebel so check that site

I just got a pair of River Road bags yesterday, and I really like them. I got the slanted design without the zipper. They are 12" wide, and 9 1/2" high. Much bigger than that might be a tight fit. I paid about 110 +tax

My bags are slanted too, and look way cool. My only regret is that they are the zippered, removable type. Haven't ever had to remove them "temporarily". Waste of a feature.

It would be nice if you could mention a brand or size so poeple would know what to keep an eye out for.
