This is prolly a dumb question guys but I need some help, there is a hose that runs from underneath the bike and over the carb, it looks like it goes to nowhere... it's about 3/8" OD, cut at a slant and doesn't look like there were ever any hose clamps attached to it - is it supposed to go to something or somewhere or is it just a breather hose?

Its a vent hose, just an odd way of routing it.

Cool - it had me worried for a sec! There looks like a spot (when i remove the cover on the right side) where I can route it out of the way, should I do that or just let it hang there, it's about a foot in length when measured from the top of the carb?

I would leave it unless you just want to move it, if you be just make sure its not in a position to get bound up or pinched, it will not hurt anything to move it, as long as its out of the way of obstructions.

Thanks once again for your help man! I'll take a look at it when I get home - I think I may try to move it taking in account what you said.
