250 vs. 450 a comparison??

hi. i JUST bought a 2001 250 rebel, but now i am yearning for the 450.
can anyone give me a good comparison of the bikes?
should i just leave well enough alone?

ps i think i could sell the one i just bought and not take a beating.

The problem with the 450:

Only produced in '86 & '87
Parts a almost non existent
Very hard find and expensive when you do.

Most of the 450's have tank issues such as rust or leaks, and there are no tanks to be had (although I am working on a soulution to that, just working out the bugs right now) and other parts are hard to come by as well, there are issues where the starter clutch is bad and that is a very expensive fix.

The 250 on the other hand has parts readily available, and most parts will iterchance from the 80's models to the new models. except for carbs and a couple other items.
