Rebel 250 ads on craigslist

I've been seeing Rebel 250's with asking prices as high as $3500 on craigslist. It's making me think about selling mine. I've been keeping it in case I met a woman that wants to learn to ride, but I could use the extra room in my garage.

I sold a '85 rebel on Cl about 2 weeks ago, got $1500 for it, I have a 2004 rebel on CL right now, had 2 people look at it last night, got a $2500 tag on it.

how many miles were on the 85 rebel you just sold? Just curious. How many miles are these bikes good for on average? I have read they will last quite some time with proper care, but just curious to what your opinion may be on the issue.

These bike will last forever as long as they are maintained properly. The '85 I sold only had 5600 miles. The 2004 I am selling has 3600.

I am buying a 250 Rebel from a guy in Calif for $1600.00 if all goes well. Nice looking bike, blue and with windshield. Can't wait. I am selling my Honda Shadow Ace Tues if all goes well and then headed out to Calif to pick up the Rebel. yaaaaaaaaaaaaa
