Hey everyone,
I am new to this board but not to the rebel. I have a 1986 Monte Rosa Silver Rebel 450 that I bought new in March of 1987. It is my first bike that I bought. It holds a special place with me. I have been keeping it in storage since 1992 and have decided to pull it out and get it running again. I am going to do some mods to it. Nothing radical. I have already added forward controls (I fabbed them myself out of stainless and using the original pegs). Fabbed a light bar also out of stainless that will move my T/S off the handle bar and onto the forks. I am looking for a sissybar. I have about 1/2 of the bike apart for cleaning. Guess I need to take pics :D
It is great to see other Rebel Lovers out there. It is so hard to find parts, accessories, upgrades, etc. Will post pics when I finally take some.
