Fancy aftermarket bike ramps for loading up a broken bike into the back of the pick-up are cool & work well, but can sometimes be a bit pricey.

An alternative option is to go to Home Depot & buy a 2 x 12 plank, approx. 10' long. You'll get years of use from this cheapo ramp that costs maybe $16...

If I may add something to this.

Also look for aluminum ends that they sell for putting on the ends of the boards that will hook to the end of the tail gate. They use these for loading 4-wheelers and riding lawn mowers. I'm sure you can adapt them to this situation.
