Does anyone have an inside scoop of the colors that might be on the new Rebels? Also, will the style be the same?

I am thinking about putting money down at the dealers so I will be the firest one to get called when they come in so I don't miss out like I did last year. BUT..., I don't want to get locked into something and then find out the Rebel doesn't even look like the Rebel anymore. Unlikely, I know, but I have seen a picture of the 1984 Rebels, and they don't look anything like the Rebel I have come to love. So, I just want to make sure they aren't changing styles on me.

Also, is it difficult to get parts for an '86 Rebel? I am so deaperate I was even thinking about picking one of them up on craigslist (cheap) because I still need to sell my Shadow VLX 600 before I buy a brand new Rebel.

Tks

Seeing as the style hasn't really changed since 1985, I'd put money on next years models looking pretty much the same... :) I don't know what 1984 bike you're looking at, but Rebels weren't released until '85! (and the only real differences between the "classic" and the "modern" Rebels are the handlebars, battery box and air filter cover)....
No it's not difficult getting parts for an '86 Rebel. Jack in Fla. would be able to get anything that's not manufactured anymore and any regular maintenance parts are still freely available.
