Please Help before i loose it

I've been trying to fix up my father's 1987 Honda Rebel 450 for months. My father died when i was a kid so this is kind of a family heirloom. I got it to run for a couple days then it sat for a couple weeks as i was in the process of moving. I went to check the oil tonight and when i opened it up, a mixture of oil and gasoline came overflowing out. I couldn't get it to turn over or hold power at all. it just kept buzzing. I thought it was the battery but now im not sure what all is wrong with it. All the problems are just from setting up i guees. as it has less than 6k miles and is all original. Please Help.....I'm Lost

It sounds like you left the gas on and some drained through the carb and into the cylinders and past the rings to the crankcase.

You have to shut the petcock, drain the oil and replace it, before attempting to start the bike.
