hello all. Thanks for looking at this post and helping a fellow rider to at least ride this season. Ive been tring to ride for two year now and I finnaly close. But now my ride is giving me trouble... Heres the problem. First thing in the morning, Bike runs good. Little sputering but thats it. Idles fine, takes off fine. A little trouble after 55mph but other than that all is good. Here is the bad.
After a I shut it off after a ride, Bike becomes hard to start. Then when I do get it to start, the bike bogs when I give it full throttle. I have half throttle but anything after that, nothing.. Also when I get it going , as soon as I release the clutch a little, idel goes way down and eventually cuts out. Carb has been clean, I checked the float, looks right, I measured it, and its just a little higher than spec not by much. Its been to a dealer, they had if since april. I just got it back but it still has this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

check for any vent hoses on the tank, make sure if you have them that they are not pinched or blocked. put an inline fuel filter between the tank and the carb, if your tank has rust inside, which is likely, it will only reclog the carb if you clean it, once you have the inline filter in place, re-clean the carb and you should be good to go.

Thanks BIG J.. What about the vaccum diaprhram!!IS that supposed to let more air into the carb. What acctuates the cyclinder,Vaccum, pressure??. The diaphram is very loose. not very profound like in the manual..Alsmost looks like a deflated balloon. No holes or anything. Do you think that this could be my problem?? I blew air into the air cleaner side once and it reved right up at idle perfectly. I wish I could do that while I rode to see if there was any difference...

That could be part of the problem, not sure if something in the disassembly/reassembly process may have gotten missed or not quite put back together correctly, I would try removing and takeing apart then putting back together just to make sure something didnt get lef out put back together wrong. It wouldnt take much to throw it out of wack.

Thanks Big J. here is a update.
I went ahead and istalled a in line filter.. I took the spring out of the top of the vaccum diaphram, and moved the free vaccum line to the top of the carb(Right behind choke cable)Everything works great. Now the problem is what fixed the bike in the first place?.Since I moved a lot of stuff and put it back..
After a long ride now,, I get small stumbels and sputters. Seems like bike is really hot, what cooler plugs can I get for it. This bike is weired but its sure fun,..
