I am not sure if this would be a good idea fuel mileage wise or not, but is there a way to make my '07 rebel sound less like a lawn mower and more like a motorcycle?

You could put a set of mac or jardin right side exhaust, but I can tell you from experience it will sound like a VW Bug..... but the wife was happy with it.

I have Jardine on mine. It does sound like a VW Bug, but its an improvement over stock by far sound wise. Sounds good idling and cruising around town, but kind of ear piercing at highway speeds as it sounds like a chainsaw. Have to wear earplugs if I go on a long highway trip.

I put the mac setup on the wifes '01, mainly because everyone said it couldnt be done that the mac exhaust was only made for '85-'87 models. WRONG, it sounded nice, like a built VW, I ended up putting a set of shorty 2 1/2 long baffles in them and that did the trick.

you can try ebay, they pop up there from time to time, but you can also try bikebandit, click on the banner at the top of any page here and it will take you to their site. They usually have decent prices if the item is in stock.

you can try getting a metal hole saw for your drill and drill out the stock pipes and see how that works i know someone who did it to a harley and i'm gonna do it to my rebel soon.
