Is there an actual weight limited listed (for shock/suspension reasons) for the Rebel 250?

I'm 5'10" tall and weigh 260lbs. While at the dealership earlier today helping a friend by her first Metropolitan I wandered on over and finally had time to sit down on a Rebel 250 to get a feel for it. I liked it a lot, but was concerned about the pegs / break / gear shifter being too close, as well as how well the suspension would handle my weight.

In my initial poking around the forums here it doesn't look like a local (U.S.) company is making extenders and such, so I'm pestering my friends in Honda Homecountry to see if something might be available there. Any information in general would be awesome. :o

The 2004 Rebel weight limit is 350. The shocks have a 5-position preload adjustment for a softer or firmer ride. The Rebel will do highway speeds, but is not a touring bike.

Mapam-Restyling (an Italian manufacturer) sells a forward controls kit. They will add 3". I am seriously considering because I am 6'2".

Chrome & Leather Plus sells them (http://www.chromeandleatherplus.com/store/product.php?productid=2436&cat=0&page=1).

I made a set of forward controls for the Shadow VLX I had that moved the controls out about 5". I did my own welding etc. and only had about $45 or $50 bucks in the deal.

I'm 5'7" and weight about 200 pounds, on my commute to work I probably have an extra 10-15 pounds of gear/luggage/etc. I have gotten my Rebel up to 65-70MPH, but I don't ride on the Interstate.

One downside...the seat is a little small...I'm thinking of looking into upgrading to something a little bigger for the "junk in my trunk".
