View Full Version : 2004 Burgandy Gas Tank
I have a brand new gas tank for a rebel, it is from a burgandy 2004. Has never had gas in it. Has a small fleek in the paint about the size of a bb near the gas fill. This is the only flaw with the tank.
It is my plan to put silver ghost flames on it. But if someone wants it as it is, let me know, I dont have time to paint it at the moment. But if I still have it when time is avalible, I am going to paint the flames on it.

I would like to know if you still have the 2004 rebel gas tank and how much you want for it. I would also like to see a pic of it if I could.
Price is $200.00 Plus shipping
I just got the tape today to layout the flames I was planning on putting on it. But I havent laid them out yet. It will still be a week or so before I have time. So for the now the tank is still stock.

Do you still have tank? If so I am interested.
Yes.... I still have the tank...... and it is still forsale, I am planning to start the tapeing it for flames tomorrow, I just got in from the supply house with what I need to flame the tank and I am doing a set of matchng tins. that is unless it sells first.
I forgot to ask if it will fit an the 1987 model? If so, please send information on procedure for buying. Pardon my ignorance, but what are tins? Do you have the matching fenders and frame?
I had it mounted on my 85 frame, it fit fine. I think everything is the same as far as monuting on the old and new rebels.
Tins = slang for fenders and painted body parts etc. I have a set of fenders I am planning to paint to match. Right now I have sandblasted them to the metal and I am getting ready to walk in the booth and seal and prime them.
I am parting out a 85 250, I could also paint the frame to match. of corse the burgandy will probably be a shade or 2 off like always whaen trying to match paint, but there are not overlapping painted panles so it will not be noticable.
