i layed down my bike today...not for the first time but a little harder then usual. The front left blinker bent back (thanks to the rubber fixture which is really quite nice) and pushed into my fuel tank about one eight of an inch. Its a relativley small dent but its my first and im a little dissapointed. Im sure there are several more to come so perhaps there are some tricks to removing such small dings. Any insight?

Che

Sometime back I saw on a couple of other groups the trick using dry ice. As I understand you rub the dent with the dry ice and it will supposedly pop the dent back out. I have no actual experience with this myself but it is supposed to work with small dents and not damage the paint. Its worth a try.

I would be interested in the results if you decide to try this.

will do...im sure the dry ice will not harm the paint, whether or not it will be effective is another question. Thanks for the idea. Anyone else?

Here in Louisiana we get hail storms every few years. Dry ice is what the shops that advertise "paintless hail damage repair" use.
