Hello...
I bought a Honda 250 Rebel a week ago.I would like to know on average what the gas mileage would be for a 220 to 225 pound person.I realize I may be a little big for this bike but it was all I could afford at this time.I plan on getting a bigger bike by this time next year and give this Rebel to my wife.
Thanks

I seldom check mine but the times I did it was always in the 70s. Low of 72 high of 78. I am 6' 2" and now weigh 200# but was up around 240# till Dr said I had to lose weight and don't see any difference in mileage after losing weight. Have read about mileages from 60 to 100 so somewhere in there is possibly an average.

I weigh 155. My wife rides with me about 50% of the time. I have only filled up the bike twice. We got 72 mpg on the first tank and 80 last week.
I am probably middle of the road when it comes to how hard I am on the throttle.

I weigh 200 pounds and get around 66 MPG, though I'm starting to get 70 more often. :D

I ride about 16 miles to work on the Interstate. I'm 6'3" and over 300 lbs, and I get about 72-75 mpg. I got my Rebel because a local scooter dealer told me that I'd do well with a scooter that has a 250cc engine. I decided that the Reb, being a 250, would do as well, and I wouldn't look like Magilla Gorilla on it. Happy riding!
In my experiece, it depends on the mileage of the bike. It took about 2,000 miles to break in and after that the mileage has stayed the same. I weigh 170-175 pounds, don't hotrod the throttle and get about 86 MPG!

My bike is an 07, with 6000 miles on it. I get consistently 90 mpg, that's half and half hiway/county (in midwest farm land) and in town riding and I weigh 180#.
