how do i mount a sportster tank to my 1985 250 rebel i have one and i want to use it but i dont know how to get it to mount cause my top tube dont fit into the bottom of the tank. PLEASE HELP.

The Rebel has a wide top tube. You may not be able to get it to fit. You can try sticking in two boards and seeing if you can pry it apart enough to get it to sit down. Alternatively, you can weld a piece across the bottom and mount it frisco style sitting on top of the top tube. Obviously that would require new mounts.
