Hey all! I am new to this forum and to Honda Rebel. Was just wondering how far everyone travels on the Rebels?

Before my wife upgraded to a v-star 650 she hung in with me on several road trips, the farthes was from our home in north east georgia to panama city beach florida, 503 miles one way, and she was right there with me the whole trip.

WOW! That is so kewl! Before I purchased the bike a lot of people would tell me that it could not hang on the highways, but I felt that it would and could. So bought it. I wanted a 650, but I am a new rider, actually my 1st bike, so was a lil scared to jump on the bigger bikes. I am hoping I get the hang of it pretty quick. Thanks for the info.

I just bought a new '07 Rebel a few weeks ago. I already got a few hundred miles on it. I'm 6' and 175 pounds and it pulls me down the highway quite nicely at 60-65 and was only at about half throttle. I haven't had it any faster yet, but I was impressed on how good the little 250 does on the highway.

As far as speed goes, on a stock rebel you will start to top out around 70, some might even make it up around 75. The 2001 model my wife had did have a few mods that i performed on it, and was actually clocked by my buddy at the sherif dept. a few clicks over 90mph lol

But back to distance, the rebel is still a motorcycle and will go as far as any other bike on the road, might not be the fastest, but will be there all the same.

Well great! So glad to run across this forum, and get this info. I love the lil rebel so far. It is a great bike for me. I am trying to get used to riding it, we are gettin so much rain I dont get the chance as often as I would like. Anyways, thanks to all of you for your input.
