Gas Tank, Little leak rebel 250

Hey Everyone. You guys were so helpful last time I thought I'd try again. The other day I couldn't keep my bike from tipping over (slowly, but surely) on it's side. Nothing was damaged as far as I can see. It's my first bike and it's old so I don't mind the wear and tear. I expect it. However, I did notice some gasoline trickling down the gas tank. Now, am I mistaken in thinking that shouldn't happen? I thought it was supposed to be vacuum tight. Can anyone tell me where to start? New cap? New Tank?

Where is it comeing from, if its along the seam of the tank around the bottom the its probably a rust issue inside the tank. If so you could have the inside of the tank cleaned and sealed, but I can tell you from experience if I ever have to do that again..... I will just buy a tank.

If thats not the area of the leak, other repairs may be necessary.,
