question about speedometer

i am new to this site and i was just wondering i have a 1985 rebel 250 bobber and i am curious if you can pass inspection without a speedometer i see alot of bikes on here without them so that is why i am asking cause mine looks out of place on my bike cause of the look i am going for. i live in PA so any help would be great thanx. i also want to know if the is a way i can pull the stock rear shocks apart.

Not sure, but you could always go through inspection with it and then pull it off. I rode a bike for a couple years without a speedometer here in GA but didnt have to go through any inspections where I live.
