Does anyone know off-hand whether or not a sprocket off an '85 Rebel will fit on an '86? I figure it will, but I wanted to be sure. Also, I'm looking at a set of rear turn signals that are for a 2005, but they look identical to the ones on my '86.

I'd think that the sprockets & turn signals would both be interchangeable for your Reb, unless I'm wrong on that & if so, someone please correct me. It would make sense for Honda to try to keep as many parts as interchangeable as possible for the 250 Reb, since it would keep the manufacturer's own costs down & the Reb is one of their biggest sellers.........

I have to say, one of the best things Honda ever did was to pretty much not change the 250 Rebel, except for a couple basic cosmetic things, at all. Even the tanks and seats are the same. Not too many bikes like that.

You are not mixing 250 and 450 parts are you? That's the only potential problem.

I haven't considered even trying it. :) Thanks for the warning, though.

Yeah, I am pretty sure you can feel safe about changing out 250 model '85 & '86 mdoel sprockets.
