Howdy All,

Ok, so I've got to do some work on the bike. I haven't been able to find any type of jack system to get this thing off the ground and stable, so I can do so much as remove a wheel. Anyone got any bright ideas? The homemade ones I've seen online won't work for the rebel due to the exhaust pipes being below the frame. I've hoisted it with a come-along, hung from a beam, but that's a pain in the ass.
?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????

I've used a scissors jack from a Toyota & have had good success with it. The top of the scissors jack that normally would hit the jack-spot on a car fits perfectly under the center of the frame cross-brace.

Have used it every time without any assistance, lifting the bike to adjust or change the drive chain, even torqueing the axle nut with the bike still lifted & no problem thus far. With the front wheel turned to the left, it's stable enough to do what was just mentioned. If you were going to do any rougher work, like jostling the rear wheel off the bike, I'd definitely use some tie-downs to help stabilize it more safely.

With the scissors jack in place, kickstand down, front wheel turned to the left, it raises & lowers s-l-o-w-l-y while keeping one hand on the bike for added stability during the raising/lowering gig.
