relocate front turn signals

The turn signals on my 04 are at the top of the fork tubes (above headlight). Is there enough slack in the wires to lower them below the headlight? I need to lower them to install a small windshield. Thanks for helping a new Rebel owner. :)

I don't know about an 04 but my 86 didn't have enough (they were mounted on the handlebars). I made a fork badge to accommodate them on the forks. I suggest you can take them off and just temp. put them in the place you want them to be in. Not hard to make "extensions" for the wiring if needed.
