I'm getting ready to have the rims for my 450 powdercoated. How do I remove and re-install the valve stems without messing them up?

First off- are they tube type wheels or tubeless?
If they are tube type, the stem will come out with the tube. Just take the nut off.
If tube-less, you take the top nut off and pull the stem out.
If they are tube-less wheels and since you already have them out newly p-coated, I think I'd get some new stems too. If they are tubetype wheels, check the tube really good, pay close attention to where the stem goes through the wheel, as it may have have some dry-rot there. Air 'em up and look for any signs of cracking.
I checked ya Rebel project and I like whats been done so far. Hows it comin now? How bout some updated pics.
