Hey,

This is my first post......I have a 2002 Honda Rebel...that I bought and rode last summer. The bike sat all winter and spring....and now it won't start! I know the battery needs to be replaced....but, my X-boyfriend took the Carburetor a part to clean it and now I don't know how to either clean it or get the thing back together....where can I pick up a free manual to do this?? Thank you in advance!!

Free? I don't know. But they come up on ebay pretty cheap sometimes. I don't know if you've already changed the battery, but it's a good idea to have a strong battery before starting, just so you have a strong 12 volts going to the cdi. Was your ex very knowledgeable about carbs?

oops....I already responded to your question in the Newbie Lounge, but I can't see any Newbie Lounge questions unless I actually click on "Honda Rebel Room" first ;)

Jack has a service where they rebuild carbs, etc.

You might call him to see if he's willing to try to put it together for you. Granted, there's a chance that there are missing parts, etc,

but if you're stranded without the know-how to do it yourself, a phone call won't hurt. The worst thing that happens is he says he can't do it. And really, he's already not doing it, so you haven't lost anything.
