Man, there's this woman I know casually & she bought this Fatboy less than a year ago. She's going thru personal problems & is looking to sell her house, her classic pick-up truck, the Harley & then move.

She's got $18k into this bike. It's the 95th anniversary edition, 3 different sets of pipes, 2 seats, windshield, misc. aftermarket items such as bullet lights, etc. still in packages. She's only asking $14k & said that if the bike doesn't sell before the house, she was going to take it to the dealership & ask them to buy it for whatever & just be done with it. I told her to NOT offer it to the dealership, especially not for outright purchase without trade-in as the dealership wouldn't offer her anywhere's near what it's worth.

Feel bad for her, she's desperate & standing to lose big time on this Harley. Been spreading the word locally in the hopes of someone giving her at least something more than a total loss.

Anyways, does anyone know what Blue Book is on this bike ? (Sorry, I don't know the mileage)

My buddy just bought a 97 road king, totally trick, and paid $11,000. So I would say for the fat boy somewhere in the $11K - $14k range would probably be a decent price.

Much appreciated, CTC. She's at least in the ballpark for what she's asking then, but I have a bad feeling she's going to lose on this one. She's obviously desperate & pressed for time. Someone will probably end up with a smokin' deal. Great for them, but I'd be sad for her. Danged Life with it's occasional curve balls. Sad...
