has anyone else had a problem with the turn signal (rear) wanting to pull away from the rubber bushing that mounts it to the bike??
Short of duct tape (don't want to do THAT!!) I can't see how to pull it tighter...
I sure would appreciate any hlep you can offer...

do not know about the pulling away
you mention
but do know
that i have invested about $20.00 in those little screws/bolts that hold it on
my '85 kept vibrating them out
get home from a ride
and the tail light would be hanging by the wires
gave up buying one at a time
and buy 3 or four
and order more when i got down to 1 left!
my new '04
does not seem to have that problem
but my friend gave up
went the duct tape route...it DOES WORK

The isolators (rubber bushings) are worn out. Replace them, and the problem should go away.
Fair bet they've been clubbed a few times by boots when mounting dismounting, and the previous owner-- like so many people-- probably thought that they were great places to anchor bungee cords....

LOL Duke.. I have seen a few people around here who have just that with bungee cords! As the old saying goes... "If the shoe fits... "
