Hello all...new around here, but certainly not forums (I help run a couple) or to Bikes (I've ridden all my life). I've never owned a Rebel and still don't at this moment. I've always loved the look of the Rebel and eyeballed 'em for years...but I'm a pretty big dude so my first bike was a V45 Magna and on to Harley's from there.
That brings us up to date...
I've always built custom rides (Muscle cars, drag cars, classic cars, 4 wheel drives, Harley's) and my daughter just turned 15. So it seemed kinda logical (at least to me) that I find something to build her.
When I asked what she wanted she promptly replied "A 55 Belair!".
Well Jeez, sweet heart why dontcha just ask for a new Vette!!! She says OK!
(Even after all these years she still don't get my sarcasim at times!!!)
Anywho...I've decided that a bike will be good on gas and prolly in alot of ways safer for the time being so I'm in the market for a Rebel.
I've got my eye on a couple, and decided I needed to find a forum to read up on tech stuffs, sooooo, Here I is!

Thanks for listening to my ramblings, I look forward to learning from the gurus!

Welcome to the forums, Blaze! You or your daughter won't be sorry on a Rebel! You can usually find really good ones for very cheap, and they make excellent starter bikes!

Hey, Blaze, good to have you aboard. I wish you lived in Wa. instead of Ga., as I could sell you my 18-year-old's 250 rebel we just put together this winter. We live right next to a 70 mph freeway, and she has to travel it to connect to anything else, so we got her a 450 Rebel instead. Your daughter will love a 250 Reb. They sit nice and low, and are easy to throw around.
BTW, I'm a V65 rider!
